Direct Primary Care (DPC) is not insurance. It is highly recommended that each member keep some type of insurance in the event of an emergency, or if specialty care is needed (including the possible need for surgery or other specialty procedures). Most DPC members have, at a minimum, a major medical, high deductible plan, or a cost-sharing type of plan (Visit the FAQ Page for more details). Insurance can always be used for outside services including bloodwork, imaging (X-rays, ultrasound, CT scans, medications, etc.), but discounts exclusive to all DPC members may be utilized when preferred.
Virtue Medical does not bill insurance or “take” insurance of any kind, private or government issue.

Once forms have been completed, a Patient with Medicare coverage can then become a member of the clinic.
