The Pursuit of Balance in Mood, Energy, Motivation, and Well-Being
Hormones play a pivotal role in overall health, contributing to a stronger and leaner body, improved sexual wellness, increased energy, sharper focus, better mood, effective pain control, and enhanced self-care.
As we age, our body's natural hormone production gradually declines. While this is a normal part of aging, modern medicine offers options that didn't exist in decades past.
Bioidentical hormones have been improving the quality of life for both men and women for years—reuniting couples, boosting total health, and giving people the vitality to enjoy activities they thought were long behind them.
Our Approach
First and foremost, total body health is our priority for each and every patient.
While your general health is foundational, it is important to also give attention to your quality of life, which strongly impacts your total health. And so, goals of hormone therapy target not only your general health, but your quality of life.
With reasonable expectations, proper treatments, and safe, high-quality care, we believe we can help good candidates for hormone therapy achieve most, if not all, of their goals of therapy.
Medical Considerations
Before deciding to start hormone therapy, we highly recommend that you talk with your primary physician. We'll cover the risks, benefits, and goals of therapy with each individual patient. If you have a significant history of cancer, heart disease, stroke(s), blood clots, smoking, or desire a future pregnancy, hormone therapies may not be safe to take. We make it a priority to decide whether hormone therapy is safe for each patient (we will discuss alternative treatments and advise against it in high-risk cases).
Safety
We treat our patients carefully using protocols that focus on safety, efficiency, and realistic goals. We investigate risks versus benefits for each individual patient to make certain that treatment is safe, reasonable, and has a high likelihood of treatment success. If you’re interested in hormone therapy, we want to welcome you to our clinic and help you understand our process. Getting started takes about one week (to get a few detailed lab results) from the time of lab draw to seeing the provider.
